A few of the innovative elements within Profeeder systems include: self contained solar powered feeders able to dispense feed and or additives to individuals in differing quantities in the same enclosure; recording data capabilities on feeding frequency, quantity; ability to set limits and record weights from your office computer.

Electronic ID tags integrated with your feed system allows you to individually set a feeding program for each animal using the technology of an electronic ear tag. This system is widely used in Australia. Cows achieving preset production goals have their feed ration automatically increased and those not achieving have their ration reduced. This is done by updating the database via the herd test results which are received from the testing service on disk. Thus, the higher performance cows get the food they need and those unable to make use of the extra food do not waste it.

Rotary Shed Feed System
The rotary shed feed system has many features, which allows you get the full benefit form every ounce of feed. The rotary shed system provides stepless control of feed volume from zero to full amount. It also is able to be upgraded to dispense additives, zinc, mag, etc. The controller will not dispense feed into pans still in memory (no double shots when platform is reversed). The system can be integrated with electronic tags to provide individual animal management. There are also options to blend both liquid and dry additives with feed as it is dispensed. This feed system gives the flexibility of being able to change type and quantity from day to day.
